Dear Members,

NAWEM, alongside our partner, UNIVERSITY OF JAÉN, SPAIN, would like to cordially invite you to attend our 6-day programme in Jaén entitled, 'Family Business Management (FBM) 'in JAÉN, SPAIN.

The FBM programme seeks to familiarise students with the problems and the fundamental casuistry of family business management, with particular emphasis on the most important aspects involved in the process of generational handover, considering the tri systemic nature of this kind of firms: Family, Firm and Ownership.

OVERVIEW
The programme framework consists of a 6-day programme in the University of JAÉN, SPAIN that includes:

Company and site visits
High-level , up-to-date scientific input from the programme faculty and outside speakers
Cultural and social activities to gain an understanding of Spanish businesses and the overall economy

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Entrepreneurs, family business owners, SME business leaders

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
Familiarise participants with family business management

Learn fundamental challenges of family-owned businesses
Discover the processes involved in 'generation handover'.
Understand the Tri-systemic nature of this type of business: Family, Firm and Ownership
Post-programme support via 3 follow-up webinars.
Individual web-based coaching session on a topic of participant's choice on their professional and personal development

CERTIFICATION
The participant will receive certificates from the University of JAÉN, SPAIN (ranked Top 75 in the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities within the Computer Sciences area, 2nd among Spanish Universities in this ranking).

This programme is fully funded by HRDF (as part of PSMB's Senior Management Development Programme for HRDF and non-HRDF companies)

Air fare is NOT included in the programme fee
Application process.

1) NAWEM will forward all applications to HRDF for first round of selection.
2) ​ ​HRDF will shortlist and ​email a HRDMS link , which requires participants to answer 34 questions .
3) Once HRDF receives the responses, HRDF will select the final list of participants and send an email confirmation to NAWEM.
4) NAWEM will inform selected participants and send them an agreement.
