Andal Krishnan is the Managing Director of Crest Excellence Centre Sdn Bhd, a company involved in Learning and Development, Talent Management and Publishing. She manages the training division and coaches potential writers to develop the framework for their books and other written resources. Her current product that is gaining much attention is the conversion of face to face learning into e-learning.

In addition to a Masters in Training from the University of Leicester, Andal also has a Post-graduate Diploma in TESOL from Sheffield Hallam University and a Licentiate Diploma from Trinity College, London. Besides that, she is a licensed trainer in Public Speaking from Guildhall-Trinity College of Music and Drama. Andal is also trained in facilitation skills and coaching.

Writing is one of Andal’s forte and she uses this skill in NAWEM as the team leader for its newsletter. Her passion to empower women has propelled her to volunteer for projects that trains and coaches micro entrepreneurs and start-ups. Recently she completed a government sponsored NAWEM initiative called Women in Digital. Another area of interest is in gender equality and was part of the team of Gender 21, a nation- wide awareness programme..Her PR portfolio in NAWEM has taken her to many conferences and other NGOs to be a moderator, speaker and process facilitator.

Together with a committed team to improve the articulation of business women, Andal founded NAWEM Toastmasters Club. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). Her expertise and experience have been recognized by the University Malaya Asia Europe Institute for Entrepreneurship, the Gurney Training Institute, Malaysian Association of the Blind and the National Association of Dyslexia. She is a member of the respective Management Boards.

Her community work for children, Blossom Literacy Programme is to ensure every child is literate and this means the ability to complete high school education. Presently it is championed by Hope Worldwide, for the Sentul Community.

Andal hopes to see more women using technology to bring their business to the next stage and increase their revenue and market reach. This will be an area she wishes to participate at both a community and national levels Reading, Music and Yoga occupy her free time. She loves to read books on self- development and listen to Indian classical music.
