LouiseLouise Chay is the Chief Operating Officer at Big Onion Food Caterer Sdn Bhd, a leading 5-star caterer in Malaysia boasting excellence in quality of food, offering new and exciting standards within the catering industry. She manages overall operational responsibility for Business Development, PR, Marketing, Branding & HR department.

With more than 10 years’ operational experience, her marketing & branding strategy guides the company culture and strengthen the relationship with the customers as well as the business associate partners. Another achievement that she consider one of the most important in her career would be the SCR program namely Youth Development Program which she initiated with the vision to empower disadvantaged youth with the tools to change their future.

She continued her professional development in Exe. Education Program on Supply Chain Management from Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation, Malaysia; Operation & Process Mapping (Inc. Franchise & Export) from Institute of Training & Occupational Learning, Malaysia; Train of Trainers on Industry Productivity Specialist (IPS) from Malaysia Productivity Corporation, Malaysia; SME @ Help University Program jointly organised by SME CORP, HELP Uni. & HRD from HELP University, Malaysia; Global Leadership Programme from Cranfield School of Management, London, UK & SMART Business Leaders Programme from European School of Management & Technology, Berlin, Germany.

Organising events is one of her forte and she wish to use this skill to organise more quality events to create awareness of NAWEM and encourage more women entrepreneurs to join NAWEM.

In Year 2018, Louise Involved in Productivity Nexus For Retail And F&B administering the implementation of productivity efforts as governed by the National Productivity Council (NPC) and aims to forge close partnerships among industry associations and partners to strengthen industry-specific support infrastructure and foster cross-industry collaboration through various industry initiatives, particularly in retails and F&B industry.

Louise loves to travel which can broaden her mind and continuous studying for further expanding her skill-set in response to a changing environment and new developments.
